Another Path Ministry – Informed Consent Policy (Entheogenic Practices)
Effective Date: August 1, 2025
This policy governs all participant engagement with discussions, education, or spiritual frameworks involving entheogenic substances in the context of Another Path Ministry.
1. Purpose
Another Path Ministry recognizes certain natural substances (“entheogens”) as sacred tools for connecting with the Divine. However, we do not supply, administer, or facilitate entheogenic use in any jurisdiction.
This policy ensures that participants are informed about the legal, physical, emotional, and spiritual implications of engaging with such practices entirely of their own volition.
2. No Distribution or Facilitation
The Ministry does not cultivate, possess, distribute, sell, or procure any controlled substances
We do not recommend or endorse illegal activity
Any reference to entheogens is educational and spiritual in nature only
3. Personal Responsibility
Participants affirm that:
Any entheogen use occurs outside Ministry events, under their own initiative and jurisdiction
They have researched applicable laws and accept full legal risk
They are solely responsible for their mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being
They will not pressure others to partake or glorify entheogens within Ministry spaces
4. Health Disclosure
Participants agree to:
Consult licensed professionals before engaging with any psychoactive substance
Disclose relevant health risks or contraindications prior to participating in any Ministry integration circle, especially those discussing entheogens
Abstain from participating if under severe mental distress, psychiatric medication contraindicated with entheogens, or in crisis without professional support
5. Legal Compliance
You are required to obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
We do not condone, suggest, or assist in breaking the law in any jurisdiction.
6. Consent to Participation
By remaining part of the community or attending any entheogen-related dialogue, circle, or forum:
You confirm you have read this policy
You understand the risks
You are voluntarily consenting without expectation of safety, medical supervision, or legal protection from the Ministry
